In 1945, Ellison began in a family garage in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where founder Donald Ellis baked and delivered cookies by hand. What started as a small, local operation quickly grew—expanding to a truck stop bakery in 1948 and, by 1965, establishing a lasting home near the Fort Wayne airport. From the beginning, Ellison was defined by craftsmanship, customer partnership, and a relentless drive to deliver quality at scale.
QualiTech Company
More than two decades later, in 1967, QualiTech was founded in Chaska, Minnesota with a different, but highly complementary, mission: to push the boundaries of food science and ingredient innovation. Over the past 50+ years, QualiTech has built a global reputation for developing specialized ingredient systems that combine performance, quality, and efficiency across food, animal, and plant nutrition.
